Why Asbestos Testing?
Exposure to asbestos fibers can cause serious health problems, including lung cancer, Mesothelioma, and Asbestosis. Despite the known dangers of asbestos, it has only recently been banned and can still be found in over 3,000 known products today in the United States. Contractors and building owners are required to inspect and notify regarding the presence, location, and quantity of asbestos containing materials prior to all renovation or demolition activities per OSHA 1910.1001 and 1926.1101.
